I build for the web. Production front-ends in TypeScript, React and Next.js, designed and shipped end to end. Ten years in software, the last two full-time on client sites and apps in Cape Town and Japan.
ULTRALOTUS is a studio of one. Designed, built and shipped end to end by me, Shane. Run as an ☦︎ Orthodox Christian company, which rules out gambling and adult-industry work.
Before this, I spent six and a half years in Japan as a game developer — building UI and systems in Saitama and Tokyo.
